Transportation
Main venues of the event are within 2 km radius and therefore within walking distance from each other. Venues and city center are also easily reached with public transportation from different parts of Helsinki.
During the World Gymnaestrada in Helsinki the participants will receive a HSL Travel Card with their Participant Card, which allows the participants to use public transportation in Helsinki municipality.
HSL Travel Cards are valid on all buses, commuter trains, trams and Metro which operate in Helsinki zone. Also the Suomenlinna ferry is included in the HSL Travel Card for the participants of the Gymnaestrada.

Special transportation during the WG2015
Some World Gymnaestrada 2015 events will take place late in the evening. Therefore special transportation will be needed. On Wednesday 15th of July the Midnight Sun Special will end not until 22:30.
Special transportation will be organised from the Olympic Stadium to those accommodation schools that are difficult to reach with public transport. There will be specific information on the info boards of the accommodation schools as soon as the festival week begins. Unfortunately we don’t have the possibility to transport the whole accommodation capacity. Special transportation will be reserved primarily for children, participants with wheelchairs and older participants.
All WG2015 transportation is free for all participants.
