Daily Newsletter: Wednesday

Weather has treated us good today at Helsinki and so has the World Gymnaestrada programme.

Wednesday was a special day of the Large Group Performances

Today the Large Group Performances continued at the Sonera Stadium. However, today’s main event was without any doubt the Midnight Sun Special the cavalcade of the Large Group Performances. The night show offers something that is never experienced before in the World Gymnaestrada.

Tonight at the Midnight Sun Special evening we also presented you for the first time in the World Gymnaestrada history the international Large Group Performance called Gymnaestrada World Team. Read the interview of Finnish World Team participants from here.

You can also watch the entire Midnight Sun Special evening show from Yle Areena.

Today the Gymnastics Workshops finally started at the different parts of the city. Our journalist went to the gymnastics testing area at the Töölö Sports Hall and tried the trampoline gymnastics. Watch the video from here.

The happy enviromental news that we mention yesterday is now a public knowledge. We are glad to announce that the World Gymnaestrada Helsinki 2015 has been acknowledged Eco Compass certificate for its environmental work. Read about our Eco project from here.
