Get Together Area

The Get To­gether Area will be a meet­ing place for ev­ery­one who wants to im­merse them­selves in the spirit of the 15th World Gym­naestrada. It will be lo­cated in the Paavo Nurmi Square next to the Olympic Sta­dium close to all the main event venues. There will be an en­ter­tain­ment pro­gram, as well as live mu­sic and DJs in the evenings.

Paavo Nurmi Square of­fers gym­nas­tics from Mon­day to Fri­day. En­joy gym­nas­tics per­for­mances from all over the world, from gym­nas­tics to dance, and be in­spired by the rich­ness of gym­nas­tics. Start­ing Sun­day July 12th at 18:00 there will be live mu­sic and DJs at the stage ev­ery day. See the lo­ca­tion from the map.

The Get To­gether Area food court and dif­fer­ent restau­rants of­fers snacks, lunch and din­ner. Ad­di­tion­ally bars are open ev­ery day. The food court is open from Sun­day 12th July at 11:00. In the evenings ev­ery­one can pur­chase some­thing to eat here.

Sun­day July 12th: Open­ing party – Let`s get To­gether
The party is kicked off by FOG, a mod­ern rock band which plays the event’s theme song. Later in the evening, thr show band steps on stage, play­ing songs from old clas­sics from to mod­ern hits with in­ter­na­tional sounds.

Mon­day July 13th: Soul and funk
Our house band Siberian Jay and fa­mous Finnish singer Pete Parkko­nen will guar­an­tee fun, sweaty and en­er­getic at­mos­phere.

Tues­day July 14th: Woman Power
The evening is filled by girl power as songs by Madonna, Tina Turner, Ri­hanna and Lady Gaga will get you on the dance floor. Jen­nie Stor­backa and our house band Siberian Jay will be seen on the stage.

Wednes­day July 15th: Mid­night Sun spirit
Watch the per­for­mances, lis­ten to young bands and get a feel for the “night­less night” at­mos­phere. Get ready for the Mid­night Sun Spe­cial.

Thurs­day July 16th: Dance to the night
The Show band and or­ches­tra play dance mu­sic from dif­fer­ent decades. The evening has some­thing for ev­ery­one.

Fri­day July 17th: The best of mod­ern rock
One of Fin­land’s most pop­u­lar rock­ers of­fers en­ergy and en­ter­tain­ment when Se­bas­tian Re­j­man plays sta­dium pop &  rock songs from mod­ern to clas­sic. Also our house band Siberian Jay makes you move.

Sat­ur­day July 18th: We will meet again
The Show band spices up the evening, while par­tic­i­pants cel­e­brate their fi­nal night of the week to re­mem­ber. The clos­ing night is all about fun, mem­o­ries, friend­ship and mak­ing plans for get-to­geth­ers. We Make the Earth Move!
