4.9. Accommodation for Volunteers

You have se­lected and paid your choice of ac­com­mo­da­tion in ad­vance. Vol­un­teers school ac­com­mo­da­tion is be based in Eläin­tar­ha’s el­e­men­tary school, at Sa­von­katu 2, 00520 in Hel­sin­ki. The school ac­com­mo­da­tion has to be booked and paid in ad­vance.

The school is a rest­ing place for the vol­un­teers, keep in mind the other res­i­dents by mov­ing and talk­ing calmly in the ac­com­mo­da­tion school. Vol­un­teers stay­ing at the school will need their vol­un­teer pass to have ac­cess to the ac­com­mo­da­tion. It’s not al­lowed to bring out­siders to the school. Vol­un­teers should bring their own mat­tress (80 cm wide max­i­mum), bed lin­ing, blan­ket/sleep­ing bag, pil­low and towel. Do not leave valu­ables at the school. Also, it’s re­quired that ev­ery­one cleans af­ter them­selves, thus the school is kept as clean and com­fort­able as pos­si­ble for ev­ery­one. Res­i­dents at the school may ar­rive from July 11th at 12:00 and must leave be­fore the July 19th at 12:00.

The vol­un­teers can also be ac­com­mo­dated at Sta­dion Hos­tel or Cheap­Sleep Hos­tel. The ac­com­mo­da­tion must be booked and paid be­fore­hand. For more in­for­ma­tion in­quire here: Con­fe­dent In­ter­na­tional Gym­naestrada2015@con­fe­dent.fi.
